CAL FIRE Basic Wildland Fire Fighter Academy #10 “Course is Full”This rigorous 219 hours of training is specifically for those seeking a seasonal firefighter job with CAL FIRE. Graduates of this Academy also meet the minimum wildland fire training requirements needed to apply for seasonal wildland fire control positions with most other fire agencies in California. PREREQUISITES: Minimum of Public Safety First Aid and CPR (CA Health and Safety Code 1797.182).
